1. Who we are
ADB Voices is provided by ADB TECHNOLOGY FZCO ("ADB", "we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@adbtech.ai. "You" means the person accepting these terms and, where you act for an organisation, that organisation.
2. Accepting these terms
You accept these terms when you create an account, tick the box at sign-up, or use the API. If you accept for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to bind it.
A separately signed agreement (for example a sovereign licence or an enterprise order form) takes precedence over these terms where the two differ.
3. Your account and workspace
Your account belongs to a workspace. Workspace admins invite and remove members, create API keys and choose settings such as how long audio is kept.
Keep your password, any two-step sign-in device and your API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys, so revoke a key you think has leaked. Tell us at once about any unauthorised use.
4. Using the service
ADB Voices turns recordings into transcripts and, when you ask, into translations, summaries, named entities, sentiment, redacted text and speaker labels. Live transcription and speaker labels are marked Preview or Beta while we improve them; they may change and are provided with less certainty about availability than the core service.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use ADB Voices to break the law or anyone's rights. In particular, you must not: record or upload people without the notice and consent the law requires where they are; upload content you have no right to process; try to get around security, rate limits or billing; probe other customers' data; resell the service without our agreement; or use it to build a competing speech model from our outputs.
We may suspend access that puts the service, other customers or the law at risk, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
6. Your content
You keep all rights to the audio you upload and the transcripts and results produced from it ("your content"). You give us permission to store and process your content only to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Processing Agreement.
We do not use your content to train or improve models unless you agree to it in writing.
You are responsible for having the right to upload your content and for checking results before you rely on them. Speech recognition makes mistakes; outputs are drafts for a person to review, not legal, medical or other professional advice.
7. Prices, credit and payment
Prices are listed on our pricing page and returned by the API. Transcription is billed per second of audio, with a 15-second minimum per job; add-ons are billed per minute of the recording they run on. Jobs that fail are not charged, and asking for the same add-on twice is charged once.
Self-serve workspaces pay in advance: you buy credit, and work starts only when your balance covers its estimated cost. Credit you buy does not expire. Purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we agree in writing; if a payment is reversed or disputed, the credit it bought is removed.
Audio storage is free for the first 30 days of each file and then charged per GB-month at the listed rate. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; a change never applies to work already done or credit already bought.
8. Free trial minutes
A new workspace receives one free hour of transcription to try the service. Free minutes have no cash value, cannot be transferred and may be withdrawn if they are abused, for example through repeated sign-ups.
9. Availability and support
We work to keep ADB Voices available and to fix problems quickly, and we may carry out maintenance, which we try to schedule outside busy hours. The managed cloud has no uptime commitment unless one is agreed in a signed order or licence. Support is by email at hello@adbtech.ai.
10. Third-party services and connectors
Connectors (for example Zoom, Google, Microsoft, Dropbox, Twilio, Slack and the meeting bot) work with services you choose to connect. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for them. You can disconnect a connector at any time; we then delete its credentials.
11. Intellectual property
ADB owns ADB Voices, its models, software, documentation and brand. These terms give you a right to use the service while your account is in good standing; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
12. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public information confidential, use it only for this agreement, and share it only with people who need it and are bound to keep it confidential. This does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed, or that the law requires to be disclosed.
13. Warranties and disclaimers
We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is": we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that transcripts and results will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither of us is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data, and each party's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid ADB in those 12 months.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, or your obligation to pay for the service you used.
15. Suspension and termination
You can stop using ADB Voices at any time, and a workspace admin can export all of the workspace's data and then erase the workspace from Settings.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we must by law. Where we end the service for any other reason, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your data. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as content ownership, payment, confidentiality and liability) survive the end of the agreement.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we will give at least 30 days' notice by email to workspace admins and on this page, and the version you accepted is recorded with your account. If you do not agree to a change, you may stop using the service before it takes effect.
17. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. We will first try to resolve any dispute by good-faith discussion; if that fails within 30 days, the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise.
